L O O K I N G  I N   S/S  2017

A collection inspired by looking within oneself to find their inner truth.  Our souls recognition of a greater pursuit of ‘finding oneself’.  For me this means allowing yourself to be vulnerable to the interpretation of others.  To put oneself out there both psychically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.  Looking in to find inner truth and ultimate peace.

FLYING OVER YOU   S/S  2015

Idea that everyone has a 'hard to penetrate' outer shell, but as you get to know them, you can peel away layers to reveal a softer inner core.  Or rather the person sheds a layer like giving a gift, to the other. Like a piece of fruit that you peal to get to the part that you can consume.   The core is reached when greater wisdom takes over.

SATURATION   F/W  2016

'Saturation' for Fade to Light is a creative collaboration between local designers Stefanie Houlis and Stephanie Podasca. Unique garments are designed with Houlis’ drive to create fashion forward architecural silhouettes. This modern dynamic is paired with Podasca’s organic and traditional approach to hand-dyed textiles, utilizing Japanese shibori methods.

C O S M I C  S E L E C T I O N   S/S  2014

A Spring collection inspired by futurism, and the prospect of human life in the infinite boundaries of space. The garments are modern, fresh, and intricately constructed to promote fashion forward architectural silhouettes.  Inspired use of intricate textile work by way of leather and quilting.  This is a noteworthy FIRST collection for designer Stefanie Houlis and her label 'Stefanie Says'.
